Clairol Root Touch Up Color Blending Gel

I was actually excited to get a box of Clairol Root Touch Up Color Blending Gel FREE TO TEST from Influenster, because I'm getting these grey streaks at my temples, and while I don't TOTALLY hate them, I would't mind covering them up either.

I used to to do at home hair color a lot in my 20's and early 30's but I don't color my hair often these days because I'm:
1. Too lazy to do it at home, AND
2. Too cheap to pay hundreds of dollars to get it done at a salon.

The idea of just spot coloring my grays was super appealing, so I was excited to try this stuff out!

It was super easy to apply, although I almost dripped hair color on my floor multiple times, so hold the brush upright when you squeeze the gel out, peeps! I was able to fully cover they grey patches on both sides of my head and a few stray grays on the top of my head with some product to spare, and left it on for 15 minutes (for 'stubborn' grays).

Well, apparently my hair is VERY stubborn, because, as you can see in the photo below (L is before, R is after), the stuff didn't really work!

I'd still partially recommend this product just for how easy it was to use, but YMMV.

I still have at least half of the bottle left, so I plan to try at least one more time, but I don't have high hopes :-(
